GIABORGHINI re-invents the approach to accessories; exciting design brought to life with Italian craftsmanship, bolstered by a growing global community. Established in 2016 by Florentine entrepreneur-designer Barbara Borghini, GIABORGHINI is named after her daughter Ginevra, a powerful source of inspiration. In a male dominated industry, GIABORGHINI organically comes together inspired by and led by women - female empowerment being one of the main pillars of the brand. As a pioneer in talent-brand collaborations, GIABORGHINI builds long-lasting partnerships with some of the most trusted industry insiders - including Danish influencer and stylist Pernille Teisbaek, appointed as Creative Consultant in Spring 2021, and model-entrepreneur Rosie Huntington-Whiteley - each bringing their fresh vision to the collection and garnering support from international press and talent. GIABORGHINI is loved by notable women around the world such as Kendall Jenner, Hailey Bieber, Gabrielle Union-Wade, Ashley Graham and Elsa Hosk. BARBARA BORGHINI
Barbara Borghini is the dynamic force behind GIABORGHINI, with a unique understanding of fashion both as a lifestyle and a business. Growing up in Italy, she was exposed to the highest expertise in accessories and footwear, going on to study Communications and Marketing in Rome before getting her Masters in Fashion Design at Central Saint Martins and the Polimoda of Florence. After time spent working in the industry, she saw the launch of her own footwear brand as an opportunity to set a new standard, with access to unparalleled craftsmanship she started GIABORGHINI and soon welcomed collaborators, including Chiara Ferragni and Pernille Teisbaek, with the goal of giving women a platform to design, and moving the brand forward with fresh ideas through creative conversation. As the architect of GIABORGHINI, Barbara’s success is rooted in a strong sense of community, her knowledge of all aspects of the business, and intuition that cannot be taught.
